MEET THE EXAMINER!
MELISSA CHORA – QUEENSLAND
Melissa is a dedicated and passionate teacher, whose love for the arts and dance in particular, resonates in all she does.
As a primary school teacher, she believes in guiding and nurturing the journey of each and every child, by creating lasting and treasured memories for all. With over 15 years experience in dance education, her classes are full of fun, and all students are encouraged to develop the best versions of themselves. Melissa strives to ensure that every individual feels a sense of success and achievement.
Melissa has been a senior teacher for Leah Belford at Barrick Dance Centre, Queensland, since 2005. Under Leah’s guidance, Melissa obtained full qualifications through ATOD and holds a Licentiate Teaching Diploma. Melissa feels that becoming an examiner will allow her to give back to a community that has given her so much; confidence, belief and passion that anything is possible. Melissa is also the Primary School Dance Teacher at Kimberley College, Carbrook. She is currently rebuilding her home after the recent floods and looks to settle into a new place with her puppy, Minnie, in the new year.
Exam Tip: The hard work is done so it’s time to breathe, have fun and show us what you can do. Remember, we are there with, and for you!
